SERVICE
The Rotary Club of St. Louis Park actively organizes and manages a number service projects within our community. Our club collaborates directly with various organizations to facilitate impactful events throughout the year.
Examples of service projects in which St Louis Park Rotarians participate include:

Community Support: Sorting clothing, food, and holiday gifts for STEP.

Environmental Stewardship: Planting pollinator gardens and collecting seeds at the Westwood Hills Nature Center.

Mental Health Advocacy: Coordinating a planting activity for the Shout Out Loud Suicide Prevention Festival.
Partner Organizations

This nonprofit organization constructs brick ovens for families in Costa Rica, fostering sustainable income and community cohesion. These ovens frequently serve as focal points for town gatherings, promoting camaraderie and shared participation in construction efforts.​​​​​​​​​
​St Louis Park Emergency Program

As the community's food shelf and social service agency, STEP provides essential food and clothing, alongside advocacy, referrals, and collaborative support to residents in need. STEP's volunteers and professional staff are dedicated to empowering lives and restoring hope.​​​​​​​​​
​​Westwood Hills Nature Center
​
This 160-acre natural preserve encompasses marshland, woodlands, and restored prairie. It serves as a habitat for diverse wildlife, including deer, turtles, fox, mink, and owls. Naturalists at Westwood conduct year-round programs to enhance visitors' understanding and appreciation of the natural environment.​​​​​​​​​

This organization equips women with crucial tools for securing and maintaining employment. By providing professional attire, employment readiness workshops, individualized career coaching, and ongoing career support, Dress for Success empowers women to build confidence and define their pathways to success.​​​​​​​​​​

The mission of Shout Out Loud is to elevate awareness of suicide prevention within local communities and schools, normalize discussions surrounding mental health, and impart coping skills and strategies that support mental well-being.​​​​​​​​​
Community Events
The Rotary Club supports several community-wide events:​

This family-oriented winter event, a collaboration between the St. Louis Park Rotary Club and the City of St. Louis Park, features activities such as sleigh rides, sledding, ice skating, snowshoeing, snowman building, music, bonfires, hot cocoa, chocolate chip cookies, s’mores, and
special appearances by St. Louis Park police and fire personnel.​​
​
In partnership with the City of St. Louis Park, the Rotary Club presents the Summer Concert Series. All performances are free to the public and showcase exceptional talent at the Veteran's Memorial Amphitheater in
St. Louis Park.​

This event celebrates the local community, offering opportunities to purchase from local artists and makers, and enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities at the ROC.
